If a friend owes your business money and they’re not repaying that debt, you may feel somewhat reluctant to press for your money back. Somehow it seems wrong to put money before friendship.

Now while you might feel stuck between a rock and a hard place the truth is the greatest threat to your friendship is actually turning a blind eye to the debt. Imagine the impact on your friendship if that un-recovered account in some way contributed to your business hitting the wall.

Hence, by not repaying their debt your friend is the one whos setting both your business and as well as your relationship up to fail.

In so doing they’ve confessed that your friendship doesn’t mean anything to them and that in fact they’ve only pretended to be your friend so they can abuse your good nature. And while this may be painful to hear at least you now know where you truly stand.

And the fourth possible outcome is that they promise to pay but subsequently don’t. Once again by breaking their word they’ve demonstrated that your friendship is worthless. What’s more they’ve also revealed that they’re also in serious financial strife.

If you find yourself in any of the final three scenarios it’s clear you’re not going to recover your money on your own. Because you’re now dealing with an emotionally loaded debt you really have no choice other than to refer the debt to a debt collection agency.

Having made the decision to refer the debt out all that remains is a choice as to whether or not you want to try and maintain your friendship.

If you want to extend some leniency towards your friend then you should definitely engage the services of a collection agency that provides a “Velvet Glove” phase of recovery. Sure, this all might seem drastic but the cold reality is if they were a true friend they wouldn’t ask you to risk both your business and your friendship over money. Bottom line: They’ve set you and themselves up to fail and you’ve done nothing wrong by asking for your money back.

If you think you have a wireless device, but it has a yellow warning sign alongside its name in the Device Manager, you should take a look at it to see what may be wrong by double clicking on it. Windows should then tell you why the device is not working at the moment and may even suggest that you go through its troubleshooter program. Do that before you do anything else. If it turns out to be a driver problem, you should insert the driver CD that came with your computer. If you can’t find the driver CD that came with your computer - don’t worry because you should be able to find it on line and download the appropriate driver on line. The first step would be to go to website of your computers manufacturer and do a search for the name of the wireless device that showed up in your Device Manager. Once you find the correct driver simply download it and follow the instructions. After all this (actually about 5 minutes) you may discover that you don’t have a wireless enabled computer — oh well, those are the breaks.
